SUMMARY:
Death penalty; method of execution. Authorizes the prisoner to choose between electrocution and continuous intravenous injection of a lethal substance as the method of execution; if the prisoner fails to choose at least 15 days prior to the scheduled execution date, lethal injection is used. The Department of Corrections is to establish procedures to be used in lethal injection executions.
