SUMMARY:

Conflict of Interests Act; state and local governments; exceptions. Expands an exception for certain employment contracts which would otherwise be subject to the Act's limits on an agency employing two members in the same family. The exception applies to employment contracts entered into before July 1, 1983, and raises from $20,000 to $22,500 the permissible annual salary which may be earned under the grandfathered contract.
