SUMMARY:
State recycling purchase program. Requires all state agencies to implement a program to purchase recycled goods. The Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of General Services are responsible for increasing the awareness of state agencies as to the benefits of products with recycled content. The Department of General Services, through its procurement guidelines, is to promote the use of recycled goods and make agencies aware of the availability of such goods.
