SUMMARY:
Reciprocity of advance directives. Clarifies that advance directives executed in accordance with other states' laws are valid in Virginia and directs the Board of Medicine to determine the extent of the reciprocity of advance directives executed according to Virginia law. The Board may recommend actions to improve reciprocity. The bill contains a sunset provision which expires subsection B on July 1, 1996.
