SUMMARY:

Unemployment compensation; release of Virginia Employment Commission records to the Workers' Compensation Commission. Authorizes the Virginia Employment Commission to release its records to the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. Such authorization was previously given by a 1993 amendment to Va. Code § 60.2-114; a reciprocal provision was placed in § 65.2-903 of the Workers' Compensation Act. This bill contains a technical, conforming amendment in a related provision: § 60.2-623.
