SUMMARY:

Jails--payment for nonconsecutive stays. Changes the provision of permissive collection by the courts of a reasonable amount to defray the costs of keeping those prisoners who serve their time on weekends to a mandated sum equal to actual costs but not to exceed the reimbursement requested for such prisoners from the Department of Corrections as provided in the general appropriation act.
