SUMMARY:
Lending motor vehicles. Changes the penalty for lending a motor vehicle to a person with no legal right to operate it from a Class 2 misdemeanor (jail up to six months) to a Class 1 misdemeanor (jail up to twelve months, a fine up to $2,500, or both), plus, in the discretion of the court, up to a one-year driver's license suspension.
