SUMMARY:

Child Labor; employment using certain vehicles permitted. Permits children 16 years of age or older to operate, assist in operating, or otherwise perform work involving farm vehicles (as such vehicles are defined in § 46.2-1099) and trucks (excluding tractor trailers). The bill also permits children 14 years of age or older to perform work as a helper on trucks or commercial vehicles while such children are engaged in work exclusively on farms, gardens or orchards.
