HB 492 Land disturbing activity.

Introduced by: John Watkins | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY:

Land disturbing activity. Specifies that the definition of land disturbing activity does not apply to the harvesting of crops that occurs in an area which has been reforested artificially or naturally in accordance with the procedures established by the forestry statutes or in such areas when they are converted to bona fide agricultural or improved pasture uses. Any harvesting of forest crops which does not comply with these procedures would be considered land disturbing activity and, therefore, subject to the erosion and sediment control laws.
