SUMMARY:

Alcoholic beverage control; criminal history records check on certain employees. Authorizes the ABC Board, as a condition of employment, to have a criminal history records check conducted by the State Police on all employees hired on or after July 1, 1994, whose job duties involve access to or handling of departmental funds or merchandise. The bill also provides that the Board must reimburse the State Police for the cost of the search. The bill contains technical amendments.
