SUMMARY:

Public assistance. Allows a public assistance recipient to establish a savings account of up to $5,000 for the establishment of a business without having the savings account be considered in calculations regarding eligibility for the assistance program. The bill also exempts a business with a net worth of less than $5,000 from being considered in eligibility calculations.
