SUMMARY:

Vehicle towing. Extends the sunset from July 1, 1994 until July 1, l995, thereby extending the authority of the Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services or his representative to inquire into, or refer for action, under the Consumer Protection Act, certain vehicle towing practices. Among the activities subject to the Consumer Protection Act is the requirement that signs be posted stating (i) the towing policy of the parking lot and (ii) the fees for towing, recovery and storage services.
