SUMMARY:

Donation of exhibits. Allows the court to order the donation of exhibits used in criminal prosecutions to 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations, instead of destruction of those exhibits as is currently authorized, provided the organization petitions for the donation. Presumably the petition could be filed at any point before the exhibits are destroyed.
