SUMMARY:

Absentee ballot applications and procedures; statement of voter. Eliminates the use of the word "his" in the statement signed by the voter on the envelope used to return the absentee ballot. The bill substitutes the phrase "in the presence of the witness" for the phrase "in his presence."
