SUMMARY:
Norfolk-Virginia Beach Toll Road. Eliminates tolls for use of Virginia Route 44 (the Norfolk-Virginia Beach Toll Road), requires payoff of bonds, permits use of any surplus to pay costs of necessary improvements, and provides for deposit of any residue in the Transportation Trust Fund. The bill becomes effective only if Virginia Route 44 becomes part of the National Highway System.
