SUMMARY:
Guardians ad litem. Requires the Judicial Council, in conjunction with the State Bar and the Bar Association, to establish standards for guardians ad litem and requires that persons appointed as such in cases of children who are abused, neglected or subjects of an entrustment agreement meet those standards. The standards are to be based upon training and experience in handling similar cases.
