SUMMARY:
Public assistance. Provides that the unauthorized use of electronic benefit cards and other devices subject to Federal Reserve regulations regarding electronic fund transfers is larceny and that aiding or abetting another person in the possession or unauthorized use of food stamps, electronic benefit transfer cards or other such devices, or benefits from fuel assistance programs is larceny. The crime may be prosecuted either in the county or city where the public assistance was granted or in the county or city where a violation occurred.
