SUMMARY:
Omnibus sales and use tax exemptions. Extends the sunset date on all the exemptions which are set to expire on June 30, 1994. Medical-related exemptions (§ 58.1-609.7) and nonprofit civic and community service exemptions (§ 58.1-609.8) are extended until June 30, 1998. Nonprofit cultural organization exemptions(§ 58.1-609.9) are extended until June 30, 1999. The sales and use tax exemptions are extended to the date which coincides with the Tax Department's periodic study of each category.
