SUMMARY:

Public hearings for solid waste contracts. Requires public hearings before a public service authority formed under the Virginia Water and Sewer Authority Act may contract for the operation of a garbage and refuse collection and disposal system for any political subdivision. Currently, the requirement applies to contracts with counties only.
