HB 164 Hunting deer without a license; with aid of lights; penalty.

Introduced by: R. Creigh Deeds | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY:

Hunting deer during certain periods without a license; penalty. Makes the penalty for hunting deer, by those who do not hold a license because issuance of a license has been denied them due to a conviction for the illegal use of lights while hunting deer, a Class 2 misdemeanor. Current law requires that the hunting license of a person convicted of the illegal use of lights be revoked and prohibits the issuance of a license to such person during the next license year. This bill conforms the penalty for hunting during periods when a person may not be issued a permit to that provided in other sections of the hunting laws.
