1994 SESSION
HB 1207 Disposition of wages earned by inmates.
Introduced by: Whittington W. Clement | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Prisons-wage earned by inmates. Applies priority for the mandated disposition of wages earned by inmates on work release similar to that which is applied to inmates in local correctional facilities. This would require that they (i) pay towards the support of their dependents, (ii) pay the fines and court costs ordered by the court, (iii) pay for travel and other expenses required by the work or program, and (iv) pay towards their keep. Previously, only child support was mandatory for those inmates on work release.
