SUMMARY:
Housing; Manufactured Housing Licensing and Transaction Recovery Fund Law. Requires all manufactured home manufacturers, dealers, and brokers associated with home sales in Virginia, whether residents of Virginia or not, to be licensed. The bill also: (i) specifies that the Board may collect both annual and per unit sold fees, (ii) clarifies who may recover under the Transaction Recovery Fund, and (iii) provides that the Motor Vehicle Transaction Recovery Fund does not apply to manufactured home dealers.
