SUMMARY:

Child support enforcement. Authorizes an obligee or the Department of Social Services to petition for suspension of any state-issued authority to engage in a business, trade, profession or occupation when an obligor is delinquent in child support payments for 90 days or more or by $5,000 or more. Thirty days' notice must be given prior to filing the petition. The court may order reinstatement of the license upon compliance by the obligor.

The bill also requires that certain child support court orders include information about the health insurance policy of the parent responsible for paying the child support. The bill also requires that administrative and court support orders include a provision requiring the obligor to keep the Department of Social Services informed of the name and address of the obligor's current employer whenever child suport payments are to be paid through the Department.
