1994 SESSION
HB 1131 Pharmacy closings.
Introduced by: Joyce K. Crouch | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Pharmacy closings. Revises the notice requirements for pharmacy closings. Present law requires, at least thirty days before closing a pharmacy for more than one week, that the pharmacist in charge post a conspicuous notice giving the date of the closing and the pharmacy to which the patients' records will be transferred unless patients indicate another preference. This provision strikes the thirty-day notice requirement and provides that, prior to closing a pharmacy for more than two weeks, the pharmacist-in-charge will be required to post the relevant notice.
