SUMMARY:

Special service districts in consolidated cities. Provides that a quicker delivery of governmental services than would otherwise occur is a valid reason for the establishment of special service districts in such cities. By cross reference in § 15.1-18.3, the provisions of this section also apply to any county, city, or town.
