SUMMARY:
Uniform Statewide Building Code; inspection of elevators. Authorizes the local building department to inspect and enforce the building code for elevators. The bill also authorizes localities to enter into contracts for the inspection of elevators by an approved agency, including private persons, firms, or corporations.
