SUMMARY:
Habitual offender. Requires a VASAP evaluation prior to restoring the privilege to drive or issuing a restricted license to an habitual offender. In lieu of restoring the person's privilege, the court may issue a five-year restricted license. Under this bill, VASAP is to monitor the individual's compliance with the court's restrictions and report any violations to the court throughout the five-year term of the restrictions.
