CHAPTER 480 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 2.1-27.8, relating to designation of the Virginia Drug Free Day. [H 932] Approved April 8, 1994

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.1-27.8 as follows:

§ 2.1-27.8. Virginia Drug Free Day.

The Saturday of the last week in October of each year shall be designated and known as "Virginia Drug Free Day" to recognize and support education about the dangers of drug abuse, the penalties for drug crimes, the availability of substance abuse programs, and the need to eradicate drug abuse in Virginia's communities.
