CHAPTER 132 An Act to amend and reenact § 6 of Chapter 416 of the Acts of Assembly of 1976, which provided a charter for the Town of Hillsboro in Loudoun County, relating to the town recorder. [S 38] Approved March 30, 1994

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 6 of Chapter 416 of the Acts of Assembly of 1976 is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 6. In the event of a vacancy on the council or in the office of mayor or recorder, the same shall be filled for the unexpired term by a majority vote of the remaining members of the council.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
