(SB500) Joint Conference Committee Report

We, the conferees, appointed by the respective bodies to consider and report upon the disagreeing vote on Senate Bill No. 500, report as follows:

A. We recommend that the House Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute be rejected.

B. We recommend that the Conference Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute be accepted to resolve the matters under disagreement.

C. Senate Bill No. 500 will authorize Northern Virginia Transportation Bond Issue 9(d) for $82.4 million. Debt service will be paid from incremental increase in motor fuel taxes and other transportation taxes attributable to Disney. Security will also be provided by:

• revenues received from I-66 Economic Development Program Fund;

• Prince William secondary road funds;

• Transportation Trust Fund; and

• such other funds as appropriated by General Assembly.
