(HB241)GOVERNOR'S VETO EXPLANATION
1. It will cost the taxpayers more that $300,000 to fund this office in the next biennium.
2. Secondly, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association has written to me and stated that they are not convinced that this office is needed and that the matter requires further study. Other attorneys in the area voice skepticism about the desirability of this proposal also.
