SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION: (all summaries)

Medical cannabis program; transition from Board of Pharmacy to Virginia Cannabis Control Authority. Transfers oversight and administration of the Commonwealth's medical cannabis program from the Board of Pharmacy to the Virginia Cannabis Control Authority. The bill has a delayed effective date of January 1, 2024, and is identical to HB 1598.
