HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 352 Celebrating the life of Shawn C. Williams.

 

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 21, 2023

 

WHEREAS, Shawn C. Williams, a beloved son and father and treasured member of the Richmond community, died on August 18, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Shawn Williams made a positive difference in the lives of many people and was happiest when spending time with his daughters, Carisma and Cameron; and

WHEREAS, Shawn Williams will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his daughters, Carisma and Cameron; his parents, Melvin and Jacquelynne; his brothers, Damon and Benjamin; his special friend, Ann-Frances; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Shawn C. Williams, a cherished member of the Richmond community whose light brightened countless lives; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Shawn C. Williams as an expression of the House of Delegates’ respect for his memory.
