HOUSE BILL NO. 2101 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on General Laws on February 2, 2023) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Bulova) A BILL to direct that certain guidance documents developed and used by the Department of Wildlife Resources be filed for publication with the Virginia Registrar of Regulations by August 1, 2023.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That guidance documents developed prior to the effective date of this act pursuant to Article 6 (§ 29.1-563 et seq.) of Chapter 5 of Title 29.1 of the Code of Virginia or guidance documents developed and used by the Department of Wildlife Resources in making comments or providing consultation to the Department of Environmental Quality or the Virginia Marine Resources Commission during such agencies' decision-making processes and in use by the Department of Wildlife Resources as of the effective date of this act shall expire on December 31, 2023, unless such documents are filed for publication with the Virginia Registrar of Regulations by August 1, 2023, and made available for public comment as prescribed in § 2.2-4002.1 of the Code of Virginia by December 31, 2023.
