SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Campaign finance and advertisements; independent expenditures; electioneering communications. Broadens the scope of campaign advertisement disclosure requirements to cover electioneering communications, as defined in the bill. The bill also defines the purchase of electioneering communications as a form of independent expenditure required to be reported to the Department of Elections.
