SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Passenger Rail Authority; membership. Makes mandatory instead of discretionary the provisions that the members of the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority selected by the Governor to represent the Northern Virginia Transportation District and the Potomac-Rappahannock Transportation District be selected from lists recommended by the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission and the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission, respectively. The bill requires such lists to include at least six persons.
