Introduced by: Dawn M. Adams | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Candidates for office; candidate for multiple offices at any one election. Removes the exception allowing a candidate for federal or statewide office to have his name printed on a ballot for two offices at an election or primary election. Under current law, candidates for federal or statewide office and candidates for an office being filled in a special election are exceptions to the prohibition on persons having their name printed on a ballot for more than one office. The bill retains the exception for candidates in a special election.
