SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)

Constitutional amendment; length of regular sessions convened in odd-numbered years. Amends the Constitution of Virginia to provide that a regular session of the General Assembly convened in an odd-numbered year shall continue for no longer than 46 days and may be extended for a period not exceeding 14 days. Under the current constitution, a regular session convened in an odd-numbered year shall continue for no longer than 30 days and may be extended for a period not exceeding 30 days.
