21101884DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 3.2-5802 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 3.2-5802. Qualifications of licensed public weighmasters.
A. A
citizen of the United States or a person who has been lawfully admitted for
permanent residence, and who is not less than 18 years
of age, and
of good moral character, and
who has the ability to weigh accurately and to make correct weight
certificates, and who has received from the Commissioner a license as a
licensed public weighmaster shall be authorized to act as a licensed public
weighmaster.
B. A company, cooperative, partnership, corporation, firm, association, or other entity may apply for a license that allows qualified individuals working for or on behalf of such entity to act as licensed public weighmasters.
