SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Department of Criminal Justice Services; powers and duties; creation of statewide telephone hotline for complaints of police misconduct. Directs the Department of Criminal Justice Services to create, maintain, and promote a statewide, toll-free telephone hotline through which members of the public may report incidents of police misconduct and to forward the information relating to each incident reported through the hotline to the appropriate investigative authority for such incident.
