SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Virginia Public Procurement Act; historic landmarks; preference for goods and services from the United States. Provides that, in determining the award of any contract for maintenance, renovation, repair, or reconstruction of any property designated as a historical landmark by the Board of Historic Resources or any contract for goods or services incidental to such maintenance, renovation, repair, or reconstruction, a public body shall give preference to goods produced or services provided by persons located in the United States or any of its territories, so long as the bid price on such goods or of such person is not more than 20 percent greater than the bid price on goods produced or of a low responsive and responsible bidder located outside of the United States or any of its territories.
