SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Taxes administered by the Department of Taxation; statute of limitations for collections. Provides that the seven-year statute of limitations for collection efforts by the Department of Taxation shall apply to all assessments except under certain circumstances. Under current law, such statute of limitations applies only to assessments made on and after July 1, 2016.
