SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Petit larceny defined; how punished. Provides that a person convicted of petit larceny, which is punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor, shall be subject to a mandatory minimum term of confinement of 10 days in jail if the item stolen is a parcel delivered to a residence.
