SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Landlord and tenant; maintenance standards. Requires landlords to fully comply with the minimum standards set forth in the International Property Maintenance Code in addition to any requirements of applicable building and housing codes. The bill also makes failure to fully comply with the provisions of the International Property Maintenance Code material noncompliance by the landlord for the purposes of a tenant filing for relief.
