SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Local board of zoning appeals; certain towns; membership. Authorizes the circuit court for a town with a population of 3,500 or less to appoint either three, five, or seven residents of the locality to the board of zoning appeals. Current law requires appointment to local zoning boards of appeals of either five or seven residents of the locality.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Local board of zoning appeals; Town of Glade Spring; membership. Authorizes the circuit court for the Town of Glade Spring to appoint three residents of the town to the board of zoning appeals. Current law requires appointment to local zoning boards of appeals of either five or seven residents of the locality.
