SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Animal fighting; confiscation of tethered cocks. Provides that an animal control officer shall confiscate a tethered cock if such cock has been, is, or is intended to be used in animal fighting.

SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Animal fighting; probable cause where cocks tethered. Provides that when an animal control officer is determining whether certain cocks are used in animal fighting, the fact that one or more of the cocks are tethered shall be probable cause that such cocks have been, are, or are intended to be used in animal fighting.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Animal fighting; presumption where fowl tethered. Provides that when an animal control officer is determining whether certain fowl are used in animal fighting, the fact that one or more of the fowl are tethered shall create a rebuttable presumption that such fowl have been, are, or are intended to be used in animal fighting.
