19104169DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 55-79.75:3 as follows:
§ 55-79.75:3. Distribution of information by electoral candidates.
The executive organ shall establish a reasonable, effective, and free method, appropriate to the size and nature of the condominium, for a candidate seeking or campaigning for an elective office to communicate with unit owners concerning the election for which such candidate is seeking office no sooner than 90 days prior to such election. Such method shall not jeopardize the security nor the customary ambiance of the condominium. As used in this section, "candidate" means the same as that term is defined in § 24.2-101.
