Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-217.1 as follows:

§ 46.2-217.1. Federal electronic logging device regulations; use of state funds prohibited.

No state funds shall be expended to enforce federal regulations related to electronic logging devices against any motor vehicle transporting nonhazardous materials for farm purposes that does not travel outside the boundaries of the state.
