19101732DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 18.2 a section numbered 18.2-265.01 as follows:
§ 18.2-265.01. Advertisement of marijuana prohibited; penalty.
No person other than a person who holds a permit as a pharmaceutical processor pursuant to Article 4.2 (§ 54.1-3442.5 et seq.) of Chapter 34 of Title 54.1 shall advertise through any verbal, written, graphic, or other manner the sale or distribution of marijuana in the Commonwealth. Any person violating this provision is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
