SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Uniform Statewide Building Code. Directs the Board of Housing and Community Development to amend the Uniform Statewide Building Code (§ 36-97 et seq.) to require the installation of arc fault circuit interrupter protection for detached one-family and two-family dwellings and townhouses pursuant to the International Residential Code and in compliance with the requirements of the National Electrical Code.
